Redefining leadership roles has constantly been evolving since the last decade. Knowing how to be in the present, with loyalty to one’s self and the ability to respect others, sounds easier said than done; learning how to walk this tightrope is a valuable asset. However, knowing when to take the reins or pass them to the most competent for the task significantly impacts work culture, but old-school methodologies persist. Removing the stigma of fear-based leadership has proven to be more effective and beneficial for whole organisations. Change is necessary; figuring out where change is needed creates leadership competence and respect.
